Please inform Key Dives of any change in your diving plans 24 hour prior to the departure of the trip. If scheduled for instruction or during holiday periods, please provide Key Dives with 72 hours notice. Notice of cancellation short of the policy or failure to show for reserved dive trip may result in full charge of cancelled spaces. Short cancellation or failure to show for one trip will require reconfirmation and prepayment for any future trips.

Want to feel what it's like to breathe beneath the waves? If you've never tried diving before Discover Scuba Diving with Key Dives is the perfect introduction to scuba diving. Check in at 8:00 am for a brief overview of the basics of diving, then it's off to the pool to learn a few skills. In the afternoon, you'll join Key Dives on a two-tank dive to explore the freedom of scuba diving and beauty of the Florida Keys underwater.
If you're ready to take the plunge, Open Water Certification with Key Dives is the next step. There are three options for completing PADI Open Water Certification.

Join Key Dives for a complete Open Water course from start to finish. Your PADI certified Instructor will teach you the basics of scuba diving theory in our comfortable classroom setting. The next step is to learn the skills you'll need to become a safe, confident diver in a comfortable pool environment. Once you've completed these skills it's off to the big blue to practice and master those skills over four open water dives.
If you've completed your theory and pool session with your local dive shop back home, Key Dives is your one-stop shop to complete your Open Water Certification. Finish your certification up with four open water dives in the beautiful waters of Islamorada.
Now that you're a Certified scuba diver, take your skills to the next level and broaden your experiences by becoming an Advanced Open Water Diver. The Advanced Open Water course builds upon the skills you developed in Open Water and increases your level of knowledge and comfort in the water. This course is comprised of five dives that allow you to gain experience in navigation and deep diving along with three other adventure dives of your choice. You can select from Enriched Air Nitrox, AWARE Fish-ID, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Underwater Photography, and many other exciting scuba diving lessons.
Many divers remark that the Rescue Diver course is the most valuable and rewarding scuba diving certification. During the Rescue Diver course with Key Dives, you will gain skills pertaining to self-rescue, accident prevention and maintenance. You will also be able to rescue and assist in responding to panicked divers and unresponsive divers.
If you have a deep love of the ocean, scuba diving, and working with people, becoming a PADI Divemaster is the next step and the first level of becoming a dive professional. Work with and learn from Key Dives staff to expand your diving knowledge, hone your scuba skills, and increase your confidence in the water. After completing this course, you will be certified to lead and teach a number of diving experiences.
If it's been a year or more since your last dive, Key Dives recommends taking a Scuba Refresher course. You will check in at 8:00 am where your Instructor will review the basics of scuba diving in a quick and easy to understand session. Then its off to the pool where you'll be reminded how to communicate underwater, standard safe diving practices, and become reacquainted with scuba equipment and underwater skills. Once your pool sesion is completed its time for an afternoon of some of the best Islamorada diving.
